I am now approaching the age of 80 years this year and my wife is not much younger! I started gardening with my Dad on his allotment in the 1940's. Life moved on, with marriage, sons and daughters -in law and five grandchildren gardening time has been squeezed. Our garden is limited as the estate was built in 1969 and we have remained in our home since that year. A simple but nice garden incorporating a lawn, borders, a greenhouse, part patio and numerous pots and troughs. Replacement of plants and maintenance is becoming increasingly more difficult. Time spent in the garden is increasingly disproportionate to both the size of the garden and the needs of the family as one of our grandsons has special needs and lives on the outskirts of London. We live in the North West. In an ideal world we are looking for a easy maintenance garden that would still receive complimentary remarks. A garden in which my wife and I can still enjoy the birds, the colours etc but this time also relax in
