I would love to win the garden makeover for my son and his family, they have lived in their family home for just over two years and have done lots of work inside the house but have run out of funds to work on their old and tired garden. The worst part of the garden is their lawn - part of it has been laid over an old driveway so the grass doesn't really grow. The rest of the lawn is lumpy and patchy. A nice flat and even lawn would be ideal for my two little grandchildren, and would be much easier to care for. The shed, up until last week, looked like the leaning tower of Pisa but it eventually leant just a bit too far and it had to go! My son inherited his interest for gardening from his late father and he spent a lot of time working with his dad in the garden where he learned all about gardening, especially caring for lawns, from his dad. Sadly funds have run low and he can now only afford to maintain the garden and keep it tidy and clean for the family to use. He has made a family picnic table out of old wooden pallets, and has restored a small old shed into a Wendy house for the children, but there is nowhere for him and his wife to relax and enjoy when the children are tucked up in bed. I would love them to have a child, dog and family friendly garden, easy to maintain, to complete the lovely family home that they have worked so hard for. I do hope that they can be considered for a makeover.
