My garden needs an makeover to create an outdoor space which is both sustainable in the natural environment (can support and survive the pressures of local wildlife ) and is a pleasing place to be for its human visitors. Living on the edge of a woodland my garden visitors include deer, red squirrel, pinemartin, stoat, birds of all types, bees, bumble bees butterflies, newts, frogs etc etc. Having tried to create colourful flying beastie feeding areas in the past this has served only to provide other creatures with short lived forage areas and tree damage. I would love to find the balance that works best without total exclusion!
