Our garden needs a makeover because...
In January my wife and I had our first child, a beautiful baby girl named Olivia. We would like nothing more than for her to spend her first summer in a garden filled with bright colours, wonderful scents, the sound of the birds singing and lots of bees & butterflies to fill her mind and imagination with memories that will stay with her and hopefully inspire her to become a keen gardener when she grows up.
Our garden is pretty much a blank canvas. We’ve spent a lot of time on the lawn trying to make it level and even with some nice stripes. However, every winter it develops a lot of moss and come spring time it is covered with patches, it really is quite a dull uninspiring place. It needs the skills of an expert landscaper to bring it to life. With us having Olivia and me working full time it’s been really difficult to spend time in the garden.
Being awarded the garden makeover would mean so much to the three of us, we would be forever grateful, it would make all of our dreams come true to see our little girl’s face light up with wonder and joy from all the happiness a beautiful garden can bring people. Thank you for taking the time to read our entry, and hopefully to gain your vote. We really appreciate it. John, Lisa & Olivia.

Olivia is an amazingly bright child and she would flourish surrounded by a beautiful garden. It would inspire her and leave lasting childhood memories to pass on to friends and her own future children.
