I would like a makeover for my daughter's garden. They moved into their new home in December 2017, and the garden is in dire need of draining. The soil is wet, sticky clay, the beds are raised with rotten wooden pallets supporting them, and there are hardly any flowers or shrubs. The garden needs money and lots of labour urgently! The lawn is raised, again with rotten wooden pallets supporting it, and the lawn is so wet there are reeds growing in it. I have tried to help, but she live in South Wales and I live in North Wales, so there is not much I can do, apart from planting up some containers when I go to visit.
My daughter Heather and husband Assim are both doctors, working extremely long hours, but it would be so lovely for them to have a nice garden to look at and enjoy on their rare days off together. They both worked over Christmas last year and it is not unusual for them not to see each other for a week when one is on night shifts and the other on long days. (that's over 12 hours to you and me!) Please help turn this nightmare of a garden into something they can enjoy and relax in.
