Huge congratulations to Megan Rees from Oxford who entered the competition hoping to change the life of her three year old daughter Ariella.
Ariella has severe disabilities, she was given a 10% chance of survival at birth and has beaten the odds. Her parents have had to give up work to provide round the clock care for her as her needs are so complex.
Ariella currently has nowhere safe to play outside and can’t even go to the park as it is too risky for her.
We are very excited to begin the transformation and give Ariella beautiful garden to play in. Watch this space!

I have just recently been through a nasty divorce that has nearly brought me to my knees...added to this was that last yr my dad whose 88 had a mini stroke. he.s fully recovered now but it certainly made me realize how precious time spent with both him and my mum who is 84 is They have both been very supportive of my son & I through my difficult time.. They live in a flat with no actual garden of their own and they loved spending time sitting in mine when they visited..I have a mini water feature somewhere hidden amounst the weeds that the birds would splash in which they loved to watch..The garden makeover would mean so much as not only would it restore my garden back to its former glory & bring me the much needed solace I need..it would enable me once again to share a beautiful place with my parents who so enjoyed my garden too a little thank you for simply being there
