Win a Grand for your Garden

Huge congratulations to Megan Rees from Oxford who entered the competition hoping to change the life of her three year old daughter Ariella.

Ariella has severe disabilities, she was given a 10% chance of survival at birth and has beaten the odds. Her parents have had to give up work to provide round the clock care for her as her needs are so complex.

Ariella currently has nowhere safe to play outside and can’t even go to the park as it is too risky for her.

We are very excited to begin the transformation and give Ariella beautiful garden to play in. Watch this space!

Spending time outdoors with my partner and two daughters is the reason why we purchased a house with a large garden, however this seems to have overwhelmed us as don't really have 'green fingers' so to speak. My daughters are 4 and 9 and have never had a garden to play in. We both work full-time so there isn't really the opportunity to take them to the park within the week, however this is something we do on the weekend as they love the outdoors. A garden makeover will mean the world to us to enable 'family time' outdoors instead of inside where technology - ipads etc seem to be taking over. I want my children to enjoy playing out just like we did at their age, we also live on a main road so playing out the front isn't possible. The garden is very long with lots of un-even bricks/soil. Thank you
