Win a Grand for your Garden

Huge congratulations to Megan Rees from Oxford who entered the competition hoping to change the life of her three year old daughter Ariella.

Ariella has severe disabilities, she was given a 10% chance of survival at birth and has beaten the odds. Her parents have had to give up work to provide round the clock care for her as her needs are so complex.

Ariella currently has nowhere safe to play outside and can’t even go to the park as it is too risky for her.

We are very excited to begin the transformation and give Ariella beautiful garden to play in. Watch this space!

Im a fulltime trauma nurse working in the local emeregency department at the local hospital. I work 14 hour shifts. My husband also works 12hour full time shifts, we have two children. One boy who loves playing outside and a duaghter who loves art, and drawing nature. I would love to come home from work in the summer and relax from the stresses of work in the tranquilty of a nice garden. After work we both cannot help but take home the worries of the days/nights events. To have a good work/ life balance would mean we could relax better. We are trying to do the garden, but like many people have limited time and money. Our family live far away and do come and visit, they have young children too so being able to sit in a nice garden would give us all quality family time together and let all off the children bond by playing together.
