Win a Grand for your Garden

Huge congratulations to Megan Rees from Oxford who entered the competition hoping to change the life of her three year old daughter Ariella.

Ariella has severe disabilities, she was given a 10% chance of survival at birth and has beaten the odds. Her parents have had to give up work to provide round the clock care for her as her needs are so complex.

Ariella currently has nowhere safe to play outside and can’t even go to the park as it is too risky for her.

We are very excited to begin the transformation and give Ariella beautiful garden to play in. Watch this space!

My garden has been an endless task since living there. First of all the neighbours complained our dog may get through to their garden so we paid for a 6ft fence all the way around our corner plot but it made a complete mess in the process. We then had to dig a big bank back and build a wall. Then the neighbour complained our dog barking was frightening their child so we had to separate the garden in two creating a dog area around the other side of our garden. We had just got all the garden lovely and then rats invaded our garden, ruining our shed floor and play house so we no longer have a shed and the content are now in my house.
Parking has become a massive issue on our street with growing families, so we have had to turn our back garden into a makeshift drive way, but it's a quick fix and needs doing correctly and it would be nice to separate the car area from the garden.
In the 9 years we have been there we have never had a fully functioning garden that me, my husband and my children can fully use safely. It would be amazing if this could happen and get my house back to normal and have a shed again. Me and my husband both work. My husband works away so his time is limited at home. We have had to recently prioritise other urgent DIY on the house. Plus funds to complete the garden this year are very limited. With the nice weather coming up it would be nice to afford to get our garden done once and for all and not make it to a decade of an unsafe garden that's not in full function of its potential. Thank you for taking the time to considering us.... :) p.s please ignore the junk in the garden we no longer have the junk this was a tip run day to clear clutter.
