Win a Grand for your Garden

Huge congratulations to Megan Rees from Oxford who entered the competition hoping to change the life of her three year old daughter Ariella.

Ariella has severe disabilities, she was given a 10% chance of survival at birth and has beaten the odds. Her parents have had to give up work to provide round the clock care for her as her needs are so complex.

Ariella currently has nowhere safe to play outside and can’t even go to the park as it is too risky for her.

We are very excited to begin the transformation and give Ariella beautiful garden to play in. Watch this space!

My most treasured place in life is to be in the garden, in touch with nature. I feel a deep connection and it's my escapism from the grind of daily life. A working mum of three children I rarely have spare time to dedicate to our garden even though from spring through to autumn it is an extension of our home. We eat al fresco as often as possible and my children come home from school through the front door and run straight out the back door and will stay out there until bed time! Five of us in our family and one kitten, and we all get individual peace and enjoyment from our little piece of heaven. However, the garden is desperate and crying out for some tlc. My husband was made redundant from his job for a long time. Thankfully now back in work any spare funds are being used to clear debt so the plans I have for our garden have been put on hold indefinitely. Just having someone come in and help make a difference would be truely amazing for all of us as we all use and make use of this space and would mean we could really enjoy and utilise the space we have!
