I need to win this save my sanity. I am a single parent to a 5 year old and I work full time on a low salary. I bought this run down, ex-student property 6 years ago, as it was the house that I wanted, at the price I could afford. My weekends are spent trying to maintain and update the other rooms myself on a shoestring budget, as well as spend quality time with my son. My kitchen needs a professional though, which I cannot afford.

I don't invite friends round as I'm too embarrassed. I'd really love a kitchen that would inspire my love of cooking and a room that would make me say "wow", each time I entered into it. For now, I can only dream of entertaining.

My kitchen doesn't match, there are bare wires hanging (I don't think they're live) and the tiled floor is old and broken.

Please vote for me, (it will change this girl's life)....and I will be your best friend forever. Love Sue Xxxxxxxx

PS. Sorry I couldn't be in the photo as I had to be the one taking it!
