Why I'd like to win: because the previous owners thought it would be a good idea to keep birch carcasses (in poor condition) and put red gloss doors on them, and then let their children destroy the kitchen. Hinges have been ripped out of the carcass, a water leak has left the cupboard under the sink unusable, and other doors are held closed with Blu-Tack!
They also thought it a good idea to install a freestanding dishwasher with no filler panel, so the dishwasher hits the cupboard door handle (now bent beyond recognition).
Why I deserve to win: I don't, but if someone feels sorry for me hopefully they'll vote. We only moved in a couple of months ago and have the remainder of the house to put right after all the bodges they did post-child-destruction.
