We moved into this house on 20th December 2013, after spending 2 solid days steam cleaning the kitchen with my mum it's still a state. The photos really don't do it justice! I can't put anything in the cupboards because the grime is still so thick. The drawer fronts have fallen off, handles have fallen off the cupboard doors, the worktop is stained all over, two of the hob burners don't turn on properly and half of the walls aren't even plastered. There are holes in the floor boards and I don't trust walking in the kitchen bare footed! I've had to borrow some wired units to put in the kitchen in place of the cupboards just to store the pots, pans and food.

It really is awful and winning this competition will let me cook safely in my kitchen!
