I've been in my home 11 years and always keep the bathroom clean however approx 4 years ago one of my bath taps broke. A friend plumber came round and was unable to fix as the taps obsolete so he disconnected them. I use the shower now to fill up the bath. The taps could not be taken off (too old) as the chances are the bath could get broken in the process. If I have to replace the bath I have blown tiles on the wall which would mean I would have to do the bathroom which I cannot foresee when financially I would be able to. In addition to this for the last couple of years the ballcock in the toilet has broken and again as this is obsolete I need a new cistern which then again would mean to redecorate, therefore on a daily basis I have to remove the lid to try and jam onto the handle to work. I have tried tiling a bit myself where the tiles have fallen and try to protect with shower curtains - this would be a very gratefully recieved prize. Please consider me.
