We bought our house in April last year and had planned to put in a new bathroom and tidy up the kitchen. We had a little baby boy due in August so we thought we had enough time to be able to do this. Upon getting the keys to the house it turned out that all of our money that would have been spent on replacing our outdated, moldy, and very squeaky floored bathroom would have to be spent on a full rewire. All of the electrics we old, dangerous and we didn't want to bring our little bundle of joy into a house with dangerous electrics. The rewire was done, our little bundle of joy had arrived and it still looked as though we hadn't done anything in the house and over the past months since being in the house we encountered burst water pipes, leaky roofs and still no money available to complete any of the tasks.... especially the one we were going to do in the first place which was replace our bathroom
