How to describe my bathroom? It's a mash-up, a selection of all that epitomises 3 decades of bad taste. From the 60's we have the original (to the house built in '64) powder blue bath, toilet and sink with elegant taps on the bath that date from the same period... Oh hang on, did I say elegant? Well they would have been if they hadn't been given eighties additions of showers that don't fit and acrylic handles to turn the water on! And that is where the elegance ends. From the seventies we have polystyrene ceiling tiles - yes I did say ceiling and a teal blue glass bubble shade on the single ceiling bulb. From the eighties probably my favourite decade...not...Laura Ashley ditsy wall paper in midnight blue and purple, swirly pink patterned wall tiles, gold trimmed etched shower screen. The least we say about the floor the better, a pink thread bare carpet thrown over the bare floor boards which the cat likes to use as her special pooing place! And that is all I'm going to say about that.
