My partner and I have been together for just over a year now, we met on a dating site and discovered we had always lived near each other!
We are now renovating his house, I have just moved in, and because we are doing all the work we can by ourselves, its very tiring at the end of the day. We would love a beautiful bathroom to relax in and soak away our aches and pains.
We have a limited budget and so the bathroom is going to have to be the last room we rejuvenate. Just to have a long hot soak in a hot bath would be heaven!
As it is, we have a quick shower so we don't need to spend any longer in a bathroom that needs a complete makeover. The tiles are grotty, large and white which makes the room look even colder. The windows have a gap all around them so it's draughty too. The airing cupboard is also too big for the room and needs to be removed. This would mean we would have so much more room to fit in a separate shower cubicle or much needed storage, something we don't have at the moment.
We would just love to have a sanctuary at the end of a long day renovating.
My partner suffers with degenerative back pain, caused by an injury at work, therefore he can't do some of the work needing to be done and we really need help in replacing the bathroom fittings. The weight of the bath would be too much for me to lift into place as would the basin and toilet and Pete couldn't lift any of the fittings either.
