Latest review:Conversions - General-James gave me a very detailed quote - he arrived and started off the work and left it in the hands of some employees of his. They made several mistakes throughout the job, including completely failing to put up the dust protection, and as such my house was caked in dust for weeks. He only gave me a tiny discount because of this. Several items on the quote were not used - especially cleaning items - when I questioned it he said ' it's a standard item of my quote'. He took pictures of the work and promised to send it off to building standards for the completion cert. of the building warrant. Almost 1 year down the line of me constantly chasing him, he has not sent me or the council the photos, and has been VERY rude to me when I have been chasing him to do it, despite me being extremely patient with him. The electrician he hired to do my spotlights it turns out also did a bad job, with one spot light becoming defective after a few months, no electrical certificate was given for the works either. The guy himself knows his way around a building site, but the organisation behind anything else is god-awful.
