Replace exterior door and frame Carpentry & Joinery"We would like to say how pleased we are with our new front door which Neil has made and fitted. He gave us good advice in choosing the wood and door fittings as it has withstood the fierce wind and rain which we have up here on the downs. No leaks,no draughts and no swelling-wonderfull! Neil is a knowledgeable and competent craftsman and we will use him again for other jobs that we have. Thank you."

Bathroom + stud wall Bathrooms"SACKED HIM AFTER 5 WEEKS!!!!!!! WOULD NOT USE OR RECOMMEND HIM !!! DO NOT USE!!! reasons The Job A small bathroom needed to be completely ripped out and new bathroom suite put back + tile the whole bathroom. 2/3 weeks max is what it should of taken, After 5 weeks and starting the 6th We had had enough. When he quoted me for the job ( £2100 ) I asked him what his hours were, he said early till late, ( good for me get the job done quick ). He would turn up sometimes 8am, sometimes 11am, sometimes 1pm, Then he would leave one sometimes two young Indian chaps ( who could hardly speak English ) to do his work ( Plumbing, Tiling etc ). Every day he had to go to the Plumbers merchants to get something else, ( as a plumber surely you would work out what you need and get it all at once? ). When I confronted him one day his excuse was the Plumbers again and when pressed he admitted that he was at another job. The final straw was after 5 weeks ( about to start the 6th week ) I checked the tiling and it was dreadful, uneven, lines not straight he / his men were even using bits of cardboard between the tiles. All the tiles have had to come off and I have had to go and get another 100 + adhesive from the Tile shop at another cost of over £350 to me. Added to this there was a leak from a pipe that leaked into my downstairs toilet and has thoroughly wet through the carpet and severely stained the Ceiling. Also he asked me to say that He did this job for less than the final price to avoid paying Mybuilder there rightful commission. I have since hired another bathroom fitter who has told me 2 weeks max to do this job and is now putting right all Dilbuild's mistakes. Dilbuild's mistakes have cost me £350 for Tiles etc + 2 men for 2 days @ £100 each = £700 not forgetting the time. DO NOT USE!!! "

Painting and Wallpapering three bedrooms Painting & Decorating"I hired David and his team to paint three bedrooms and wallpaper three feature walls. The walls in the bedrooms required some TLC as they had some uneven areas and some cracks; David filled these to a level that I couldn’t believe could be achieved. David arrived on time and completed the work quickly and with great results. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again in an instant. "
