We've just moved into a Victorian house in Barnet. The water pressure is terrible. If you're in the shower and turn on a tap/flush a toilet, the shower pretty much has NO water coming from it. Similar if using other taps - if one is running and another is engaged, it sucks all of the water from the first. We can't seem to find the mains water supply cut off other than the one under the pavement in the front of the house. Is there one meant to be inside the house as well? If so, where is it normally? Should be hire a plumber to come and check this out? I've been on the water companys website and they look like they're going to be pretty unhelpful on this issue...
