This builder was a complete nightmare. Refused to provide receipts; made constant unreasonable demands for payment; did not turn up and at times threatened violence. Left debris at the front of my property. In the end had to call the police due to the repeated threats. Several thousands of pounds out of pocket. Had to remove his work and get a new reputable contractor to put s new roof on.

Did the job, his team corrected shoddy work there and then but I couldn't get hold of him afterwards, didn't return calls or answer messages.

Problem satisfactory resolved.

People stay away from him. He has put a new roof for us and after 1 months it is even worst than before. Tried to contact him so many times-never replays, phones disconnected.Waste of money!!!!!!!! Do not hire him as you will end up loosing money!

Seemed like a genuine person, a simple leak in the chimney he said was all fixed. Next time it rained, it was worse than before! Have given him over 3 months now to return and rectify his job but to no avail. The minute he took the cash, even after promises of coming back, i dont think he had any intention fixing his dud job. Phones disconnected, can never get through. Alot of money wasted....stay clear.

Job was not finished. 1)I paid extra for leading but this was only partially completed. 2)The new flat roof was left leaking, running down the inside walls of my kitchen. 3)I spent the next couple of days repairing and replacing my guttering which they wrecked. It was left leaking heavily in a number of places and pouring water over neighbours garden. I had to call a another roofer to fix the leaks and replace gutter sections and brackets which were all damaged by Tyler Roofing. I cant believe I let him off reboarding 80% of the job as not 100% necessary and he seemed like a genuine bloke, how wrong was I! Both of his phones were then disconnected, I think he builds in the cost of a pay as you go Sim into each job. I sent a few mails on here but got excuses and no further contact. 10 Year Guarantee?????? 10 Mintutes more like... £950 cash wasted!

Did the job to plug a leak in the ceiling - didn't work: I contacted Simon on at least 3 different occassions over 3 months and he promised to turn up to check the leak - I waited patiently. Still no response.

Come to fix 2 jobs. Both leaked more after he left. Took £300 and left me with water pouring through the spotlights in the bathroom causing a lot of damage. The leak was a drip before Simon came. He has promised 6 times to return, apologising every time. He did come back once and left a tarp and ladder on the roof to stop the leak. He has not been back since (job done 3 months back). The tarp has now blown free and the ladder is banging on the roof. I have asked Simon to return my money or fix the job. Loads of promises, no action. I would have got another roofer in weeks ago if it was not for the false promises. We choose Simon due to the positive feedback. I can only believe that all his previous jobs have gone right, first time. Based on my experience if he needs to come back you will not see him again. I have contacted my solicitor and will be pursuing Simon through the courts. Very very disappointing.

Gave the job good consideration and identified simple cost effective solution, was able to do the work quickly and stuck to dates etc.
