6 internal door replacements
Phoned 1 hr before due to arrive to say could he leave it to another day!! my tenant had taken day off work to accomodate which he knew.Was due to arrive at 8.00 am didnt turn up till 10 am probs with traffic he said.When he did turn up he said he wanted deposit upfront!! before he started I had to leave my job as a tradesmen to pay him this deposit and then he wanted to charge an extra £20 to take off existing doors when the job was to replace existing doors(was there a misunderstanding that old six doors would already be there fitted!!!!!!!!!!!!),as i was so shocked i made my apprentice who was with me to take off the existing doors 10 minutes work!!(Sebastiaions comment was why didnt you do job yourself) i explained i was gas safe registered engineer and cant find the time thats why i engaged his services, due the inconvience of having to turn up to pay a deposit(which was never mentioned) and take time out from my own demanding timescale to fit in his demands I ended up losing time myself.After Sebastion finished his work he was paid what he was owed on trust.I then surveyed his workmanship which i found to be shoddy which only a fellow tradesperson would know immediately example screws missing from hinges poor closing doors,missing door keepers (sometimes door frames can be difficult to screw to and are not square but his shoddyness didnt justify this the left old door furniture on frames and failed to fit all new supplied furniture his response to this as he was travelling down the motorway after leaving claiming was they where missing from the box!!??? well i can tell you they i always pick up sealed boxs when i buy these goods because i know their can be problems!! so you can all make judgements for yourselves.I said to him if they where missing he should have given me the opportunity to go out and purchase some more or i would have complained to where i purchased these items, he would have known these where missing at an early stage of fitting.The old door furniture is only fitted upstairs doors and is only missing from these doors only!!!!!!!!! he must think I am an idiot!!!!!!!!!! to as these are missing!! I have worked in this industry for 25 years and i thought I wasnt wet behind behind the ears but i must be for employing him.I feel sorry for all you people employing tradesmen and being let down for whatever reason I am now a tradesman and a landlord on the receiving end and to me it is a wake up call to what u all feel and recieve.The only thing i can say is i dont leave my jobs like this.As far as Sebastion is concerned the negative feedback is justified it is a pity Sebestian but you have greatly dissapointed me and you have let yourself down.The only positive thing I can say is he did offer to comeback after christmas after returning from Poland!!but 15 mins later he offered to comeback to rectify these things that night if i purchased so called missing goods from B an Q or similar.

Im been sick(40 degrice)and go to your job because u sain to me-i dont care u must come! U lafing frome me and talking to me like racist. Unot coming first to show me job and talk what and where and who pay!! U stold tools frome diferent builder(polish like me)and now give me negative because we working in same area!!! NO COMENT!!
