Labourer/Apprentice
Longcross Woodworks in Longcross, Surrey
January 1997 to March 2003
This is where I started off working with my father as a site labourer. Working along side other trades gave me the opportunity to decide what was right for me and so from a lot of deliberation I decided to become a carpenter as it was my most interested and best suited trade.
Carpenter
Bisley Property Company in Bisley, Surrey
April 2003 to April 2009.
Within this company I have undertaken all aspects of carpentry (1st & 2nd fix) ranging from roofing to oak work to kitchen fitting. My current position is head carpenter; I interact on a day to day basis with the foreman, Architects, Surveyors etc and delegate jobs and responsibilities to others on site.
Events, Scenery & Film Work (freelance)
April 2009 to date.
Detail Management, Scena, L.L Events, Elemental Design, I.S.G Europe.
I have worked with a number of events and scenery companies and depending on there current workload and season I jump between them all. Some projects I have undertaken are Farnborough Air Show, P.G.A championship Golf at Wentworth, ATP Tennis Finals at the O2 arena, Wimbledon Tennis, Ryder Cup, Staging out the top of the millennium dome for the world cup event, Armani displays for Selfridges, Topshop Displays, Contemporary Ikea tree on the roof at the Barbican, Fitting out the Abercrombie & Fitch flagship store in Hamburg (Germany).

Between events and scenery contracts I have also worked on various other projects for example oak fitting for the new Corinthian Hotel SW1, Price work on 12 new purpose built flats in Warlingham, Form work and roof building on a penthouse apartment in Westminster, Shuttering , boxing & erecting hoarding’s for a demolition company in Holborn, Finished timber panelling in the new Westfield shopping centre in Stratford etc. A large luxury waterside flat complex in north London.
Currently: Working on large luxury housing development in North London (est completion early October 2012)
