Very highly recommend. The planning, communication with me, advice provided and delivery of my build job by Remus and his team was absolutely excellent. His price is reasonable, not the cheapest, not the most expensive, and very transparent and accountable on all costs. Part of the job entailed removal of two chimney breasts and making good in line with building requirements. He put me in touch with a good architect, undertook all the liaison with Building Control and brought in additional highly skilled contractors when needed - for new French doors and windows, kitchen marble countertops. He always went the extra mile. His team tidied up well at the end of every day, so even when my house was a building site it still felt respected and cared for. Remus takes real pride in his work and it shows in the finish. He’s so good and I have so much confidence in him, I even recommended him to *my boss* at work. And she’s delighted too.

This is the results of poor workmanship of Remus and his team Tiling in downstairs toilet not finished Kitchen sink badly sealed, worktop disformed,swollen with water Silicone instead of rubber seal used on bath drain, kitchen ceiling flooded,needed repainting + plumber bill Floor tiles in bathroom cracked because MDF board wasn’t screwed on floor boards 3 out 4 electrical fittings failed within months, in the bathroom 5 kitchen floor porcelain tiles cracked because of poor installation Gaps behind kitchen units, at floor level,not filled; very cold air coming in during winter. Exterior kitchen window seal ,gap underneath left not filled Plug related to cooker blew up,smoke sparks . Very scary. Poor work from electrician. More plugs in kitchen recently failed , £655 for repairs ,trying to get a refund from Remus Boiler’s flux was so badly fitted,that boiler was declared dangerous by gas engineer. Again, paid another plumber to fix it. The list is long and very depressing. Hire him at your own risks

Remus & his team has provided a very professional & efficient service from the quote to finish of the job. His communication, competitive quote and timing has been excellent. Window blocking & entire room skim has been done to very high standards. Place was left tidy, clean and all the rubbish taken away. Remus will be gladly welcomed back for any future additional work.

I am very happy with the plastering service provided by Remus. He was polite and friendly and his work met the very high standards that I expected. The job was to plaster the interior of a garden studio - I asked for a neat, smooth and square finish to the plaster and that is what Remus did, all the corners and edges are neat and the plaster is so smooth it is ready to paint. He tidied up after the job and was very reasonable in price compared to some other quotes. I am glad that I hired Remus for this work and would definitely recommend him.

Remus arrived promptly to the property to asses the room and the two members of his team who carried out the works did so quickly and left no mess. The finish of the plaster ceiling is great. I would definitely use Remus again!

Remus renovated the entire downstairs of our house. He built a side return and extension on our kitchen as part of that. We are very happy with the result and would highly recommend Remus and his team. They are thorough, have high standards, very honest and considerate. Remus alao has a ‘can do’ attitude and will always try and find a solution rather than just say “no”. We will invite Remus back to do our bathroom next year.

Remus and his team (brother + nephew) are excellent. They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, reliable, they work hard and leave the areas clean at the end of each day. The standard of work is extremely high, I am very glad I went with him. Initially I hired him to build our loft conversion, however after seeing the excellent standard of work, and general way of doing things, I gave him two more jobs - removing 2 chimney breasts and re-fitting our kitchen. Everything has been done really well, and after 13 weeks of work, I do not have any complaints or snagging issues (which was surprising as all builds encounter snagging issues). Remus can really handle everything - construction, plastering, painting, wiring, plumbing, tiling etc. Whenever it came to building control/regulations, he called in certified tradesmen (electricians, gas engineers etc) and they all independently checked his work and passed everything. Remus can really do everything in a building project. Finally, pricing/quotes. His prices are sensible and fair, with no hidden or extra charges. In all 3 jobs the price he quoted was the price I paid, I did not have to pay any hidden extras. The materials he uses are always high quality, however he will always try to save you money if he can (as an example he managed to source some windows for me which were cheaper than anything I could find). Remus and his team are excellent builders, who are friendly and approachable. I strongly recommend them. Well done guys!

Remus came to do my kitchen extension and also managed to give me a downstairs WC and laundry room. Everything was done Correctly and with care. Remus also advised me on how the kitchen should work for me and my family and through out the build he always updated me on the stages. Remus is good family builder (very rare to find). If you do hire him you will defiantly not be disappointed with his work and professionalism.

DO NOT LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A BUILDER! These are YOUR guys, the best in town, in all my years of doing up properties. I wish i found them 8 years earlier. They were great to meet, very friendly, hard working and honest. This is the only team i would leave alone in my house to get on with the job. We spoke about all sorts of work, and you can tell straight off the bat that they have great experience in all jobs, no question unanswered, excellent sound advice for other jobs we discussed extensions and insulation, and new build homes, very helpful advise. As for the job that they did with the Chimney stack removal, I thought it would be a complex task with regulations etc, they made it look so easy and it was easy with them being involved. Start to finish was within a couple of weeks, which included the Council being involved. We couldn’t believe how quick the process was, everything passed with building regulations, no problems. I can’t rate them high enough. Just call them and meet Remus. He is a busy man, so if you get him in for a quote to do a job, count yourself lucky as he has a lot of big jobs going on and is wanted a lot for many jobs. But if he is not busy do not hesitate to have a chat with him. EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED!! I would definitely recommend to friends, colleagues or family with full trust that he will do a great job for anyone taking on Remus for work. Look forward to working with you again Remus.
