Thoroughly recommend Mark. Reliable, fairly priced and always finds a solution. I no longer live at the property so great to now have a local tradesperson I can trust!

Mark contacted me promptly, provided a reasonable quote and maintained excellent communication throughout. He worked very hard and I was most appreciative when he was able to contact an electrician friend of his to undertake an electrical safety report and complete the necessary works to a tight time-frame, something I would have been unlikely to achieve without his assistance. Mark completed boxing in of pipes, changed door handles, taps, a light fitting as well rewiring light switches. I found him to be friendly, helpful and a pleasant guy. A extra kind touch was that he painted the boxing in and re-siliconed the bathroom sink for no extra charge. I would happily recommend him to others and will use him again if and when the need arises.

Mark was responsive and friendly throughout. He was appropriately cautious about the problematic electrical wiring that needed to be taken into account and worked around it in consultation with me. The board was hung according to our spec and we are extremely pleased with the result. Marks’s careful diligence was exactly what was needed to achieved the desired result.

We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install.  To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

Very smart work by Mark. He improved on the finish I thought we'd be able to achieve for our fireplace including pouring a new concrete base/hearth. He clearly has an eye for what will look right. Left him with our keys so he could work whilst we were out, he took good care of the place and left everything very tidy. Will definitely be using Mark's services again for other jobs.

Mark has been exceptional. He came at a time where we had been deserted by a previous builder who had botched our new home! Most people would not have accepted such a challenging job but Mark was not only willing to take on the challenge but he executed the job to perfection. Mark not only completed the job to an excellent standard but also went far beyond our expectations by noticing previous faults and rectifying them flawlessly. He delivered all the necessary certificates and completed the job in time. On top of him being highly experienced, he has a great team around him who are highly skilled and qualified. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Mark and his brilliant assistant, Lucas, for any and all odd jobs you require doing inside and outside your house – you know, the kind you keep putting off. Shortly after posting the job on MyBuilder, Mark visited my property and provided a very reasonable quotation for the bits and bobs of work I required completing. He and Lucas arrived on time on the agreed day, and they went above and beyond the call of duty, as I'd forgotten a couple of additional jobs and they agreed to undertake them for no extra charge. They were punctual, tidy, hard working, and incredibly skilled – the variety of tasks (outdoor decking cleaning and staining; putting up shelves; mounting art; hanging art; and putting up a curtain rail) were completed with aplomb, and quickly. I look forward to Mark and Lucas revisiting my home for more work – I just need to pile up the odd-jobs list again now, after they ticked off all the tasks in just one day.
