Work History
Hi my name is Adam and I am a 26 year old roofer in Birmingham. I have been roofing for nearly 10 years working alongside experienced roofers in the Birmingham area. During this time I have worked with many different types of roofing company from small family run businesses to large, well established, multi-trade companies with national contracts such as Homeserve and British Gas.
While working with these companies from a young age I learnt alot about the positive and negative aspects of the way in which these different types of roofing company carried out their business. Some of which were great techniques in things like customer service and attracting new clients and some which made it hard to believe anyone would hire them at all (I actually worked for one company for just half a day due to how bad they were). Ultimately it was this type of varied experience that gave me a great insight into what customers liked and what they didnt like about finding and hiring a reliable tradesmen.
In March 2009 during the peak of the recession I had just turned 23 and went to the Princes Trust to ask for help in developing a business plan to gain funding for PRS. By June 2009 the funding was accepted, I had 2 local lettings agencies on board, a nationwide contract for a company who built high-spec garden rooms and agreements with 2 building companies to carry out all their roofing work. Then in August 2009 i looked into internet advertising and joined mybuilder.com.
Since then PRS has gone from strength to strength and built up an unrivalled local reputation for quality workmanship and great customer service at an affordable price. With free roof inspections and quotations backed up by photographs with clear written reports and genuine guarantees on all workmanship to offer peace of mind to every customer, we aim to offer the highest quality roofing service in the West Midlands.
