Job promptly completed, seemed very knowledgeable about the work we required. Left property in a good condition, can't see where the external work has been carried out. Tried hard to match existing mortar so that repairs weren't obvious.

Paul is reliable, honest and cost-effective. I am pleased with his work and I would be happy to recommend him to others.

Excellent experience, from first phone call to completed job. Paul understood the problem, and the solution. He gave me confidence that he knew what needed to be done for a permanent fix so my settlement cracks. Paul and Kirt stared early each day, worked diligently and confidently throughout the day and finished the job on time. They did an excellent job of matching the mortar colour, it's imposible to work out where the repairs are unless you know where to look. Competent, quick and honest. Highly recommended.

Paul and his mate repointed our garage inside and out. An unpleasant job with a grinder in the heat of mid summer, but they got on with it and did a excellent job, and charged what he'd originally quoted. Going to employ again.

We cannot fault the work done by Paul and his lads that work with him, right through from the original quote to the finished work he was spot on through out. He gave us a quote that was excellent (we got several and he was the best), he started work almost straight away and was always there early and worked really hard to give us what we wanted which was quite a lot of repair and pointing to our house. We are extremely pleased with the work Paul has done and the high standard with which it was done to, and we shall ask him back to do more later in the year. I have no hesitation in recommending him, as to find someone with his quality of workmanship and professionalism is a hard find these days. He was friendly and approachable while doing the job and even sorted out ringing the hire people for me and organising pick up. Him and his lads always tidied up after themselves and were very tidy at the end of the day packing up. Paul is a good find and one we want to keep to ourselves but cant so you wont go far wrong hiring him for your job! Thank Paul and the lads.

We are delighted with the quality of repointing Paul Barclay has just completed on our house. Paul and his work colleague are highly skilled workmen and pleasant people to deal with. They understand old buildings and were able to advise us on a number of related issues. We were impressed with their committed approach, even during bitterly cold periods of weather. Paul has worked on several jobs for me. He has done block work and brick work on a new house and two refurbishments. In addition to general block work and brickwork, he has done specialist brickwork for fireplaces and infill panels in timber framed sections. He pays attention to detail and his work is of a high standard. He is capable of working to strict deadlines and work schedules. He is tidy and hard working. He is capable of managing his workmen so that the end result is produced on time. His time keeping is very good and he is an honest and trustworthy person.

Paul answered my advert for a bricklayer and from the start impressed me with his attitude. I gave him a trial and was so pleased with his work that I asked him to complete the reconstruction job of converting a bungalow into a 2 storey house. He was competent and prepared to run the site whenever I had to be away. I was very pleased with his work and would be prepared to employ him again. I was also pleased that he was able to train a "job scheme" apprentice and although the young lad had Attention Deficit Syndrome he was very good in the lad's training.
