We took on what we thought was a relatively small and simple project, but we had no idea of the work involved. After going through a lot of heartache and many builders, we couldn’t believe our luck when we came across Neil.
We immediately felt at ease with Neil’s honest and friendly approach and even before he had secured our contract he proved his weight in gold.
Neil has been an absolute rock from the very beginning and took control of every aspect of our project. We were not living at or near the property (170 miles away) and completely relied on Neil to carry out our vision. We took a chance and put our faith in Neil and it completely paid off.
Every piece of work carried out by Neil and his delightful and friendly team is finished to a very high standard. Neil is a very conscientious, honest, reliable, trustworthy, hard working builder who genuinely cares and wants his clients to have the very best and be happy with the final result.
Neil worked in some pretty dire conditions at our property, with no electricity, heating or toilet facilities in a very cold and snowy winter. Despite this, Neil and his team were there on time, every day.
Neil informed us at every stage of the build and regularly kept us up to date with emails and photos, which was great for us being so far away and not able to visit regularly.
Neil went above and beyond our expectations and we will never use anyone else in the building industry ever again. Neil is for life.

Neil is a pleasure to work with, honest, hard working, concientious and has completed the work to a high standard. With work underway we discovered some problems due to the property being over 80 years old, Neil took all this in his stride, always thinking the problems through and discussing the solutions with us giving us options and always providing written quotes for any extra work. He has been keen to help us stay within budget while giving us quality products and and building us the extension we desired. All his team are friendly and polite and share Neil's work ethic, producing work to the same high standard, we are immensley pleased with everything they have achieved. Neil has just completed our two-storey extension/extensive interior renovation. This was our second building project in the last 5 years and the first time we’ve worked with Neil. It was completed on budget and on schedule, despite a very harsh winter. Neil was honest and professional in every aspect of his work. He kept us informed of daily progress and managed the schedule, subcontractors and suppliers very efficiently. The quality of his work was excellent throughout and our neighbours commented on his considerate approach to running a busy building site in a quiet village.

Neil was always ready with very helpful suggestions and advice and very willing to accommodate last-minute revisions and additions (of which we made many!). He looked for ways to minimise our costs at every opportunity.

We cannot recommend Neil highly enough. He is an outstanding builder and we plan to work with him again on future projects.

Neil came with a competitive quote, arrived when arranged and worked hard to a high standard. His contractors - electrician, plumber, fitters, etc., were also good. He was easy to deal with and flexible when required. We would choose him again!

Neil is very hard working. And the work he has done for us on the extension we have found very satisfactory. His brick work is the best we have seen, and his attenstion to detail is very good. He trys to please where he can if you feel you want to add something once work has started, such as with us we decided to add an extra window. He puts in the days and the hours to get the job done in the timescale.

Neil is an honest, hardworking professional who works hard to ensure a quality finish. We had an unusal extension and Neil was key in solving the problems as they arose. You should not underestimate the need to have a builder who will work with you to solve problems cost-effectively. We were very pleased with Neil's work and commissioned extra work once the extension was completed.

Neil Browne is a good worker, keeps going all the time 7 days a week. Very friendly.
The only problem he had was his electrician continuously let him down hence the job took longer than he promised.
I think he has now addressed that situation.

I would use him again and in fact he is coming back to do some work in the capping of an unwanted pond.
There will be other work for him in the future from me.
