Paul has done a good paint job with our living room, stairs and landing. Good communication and prompt replies to any queries. He stuck to the original estimate he gave us and finished on time. Very clean and tidy - he packed everything away every night and no paint brushes, sheets etc... were left lying around. Thanks!

Cinema Room
Great fun to be working closely with TV Presenter Amanda Lamb. We made this room appear larger by hanging the wallpaper horizontally.
It was quite a challenge to paper with the roll top bath in situ & the high wall going into the eaves, so it took two of us to do. Paper by Harlequin.
An efficient way to decorate by using the same colour for ceiling, walls & woodwork as its saves time 'cutting in'. Colour - Timless, an off white.
I also quite enjoy repairing Cotswold dry stone walls, its like a jigsaw puzzle without guides. One of several sections rebuilt in Charlbury, Oxon.

Work History
Formally a marketing manager so I like to think I have an eye for detail, but opted for a career change.
I'm also very pleased to have been appointed decorator for a new Channel 4 TV makeover programme "You Deserve This House' first broadcast in March 2012. I have worked on a number of episodes though I'm not on till later in the year.
After decorating for myself over the years, I decided to go college to do a variety of decorating and special effects courses, then started working initially for friends and family and the referrals grew from there, 10 years on and business continues to grow.
Money saving tip... A number of my clients like the ranges of colours from Farrow & Ball, Fired Earth etc. but I tend to get those colours mixed up by Dulux or one of the trade suppliers, why pay £62 for a 5L tin when you can get it for less?
And if you are considering new carpets/laminate flooring I can also help there and co-ordinate, so carpets are fitted after glossing of skirting boards etc. Nor will we leave your doors off their hinges like many others, we will plane them so they don't catch.
Most of my work is in the Warwickshire area but I also work in Coventry, Redditch, Solihull, North Oxon & the Cotswolds.
I'm also happy to arrange to show you some of my work.
I also like to think I Add Value not VAT as I'm not registered for vat.
And of course I have Public Liability Insurance to cover any incidents.
