Very good and clean lads would have no problems in using them again or recommending them

Completed a full roof - including leadwork - for a 5 bed detached house. The quality of the finished product was superb and he gave some very good advice on choosing slates etc. It was disappointing that the job took far longer than planned (9 weeks, instead of the 4/5 week estimation). I suppose it's hard to maintain a high standard of work, while rushing a job, but this overrun resulted in additional expense with scaffolding hire. However, I sense that the scale of the build overwhelmed him a little, making things a tad fraught on site towards the end of the job.

Very disappointed in this roofer. He phoned almost immediately job was posted and agreed to come to my home - great, delighted. Explained situation and he carried out an brief/ overview investigation. Appeared keen and i asked for an email to explain his findings so that i could update my insurance (who were already aware if issues and on board). Mathew said he couldn't email right away as he had a vat return to do. I agreed and confirmed I didnt really need for about 5 days. After 5 days and no sign of email I text - nothing, so emailed - nothing and eventually phoned - nothing. I did all (3) again a few days later and was completey ignored. I was actually initially concerned for him but now I just think he is very unprofessional. Very disappointed in Mathew.

This was a relatively small job - a leak from the area of a roof lead channel into the ceiling of the room below. Nonetheless, Matthew was prepared to come to the house three times to discuss his alternative actions and, eventually, he recommended the simplest/cheapest repair. He arrived at the arranged time, did the job as previously discussed and charged a very reasonable amount. Highly recommended. Matthew arrived when he said he would (in fact early) and as he had his ladders up to inspect the problem he was happy to do the work whilst there. Job done, advice given and we will more than likely get him back to carry out the work we were advised about later in the year.

Mr Farmer attended promptly. He was extremely polite and very efficient in his inspection of my roof. By mutual consent it has been agreed that what little work to be done to the re-setting of my ridge tiles is to be carried out sometime after June 2015 but before winter returns. I found Mathew was not "fishing" for work and I am more than happy to await the completion of the above & the expected additional service Mathew provides of an annual maintenance roof and gutter check up.

I had Matthew inspect my roof and he was very open and honest with what was needed to be done. The work required was based on slipped and replaced tiles and even though I have had other companies review the work he was the only one to both identify the problem and fix it to a high standard. He has great communitation skills and found him very professional and would hire him again.Highy recommended.

We hired Matthew to do some extensive work at our property, including replacing slates on the roof, replacing guttering, cementing the chimney, replacing valleys, replacing wooden fascia etc. Although the weather was horrendous at times, Matthew carried on and got the job done. Matthew is pleasant, hard working and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who requires work done at their property.

Matthew was a friendly, reliable and clearly a knowledgeable tradesman. I wish that there were more like him. He assessed our roof and gave us a written quote. He showed, and fully explained what work was necessary, and indeed what wasn't. Matthew conducted the work on days that suited us. He was a considerate tradesman who cleared up after himself. We will gladly have him back for future maintenance, and would certainly recommend him to friends.

Matthew arrived on time to assess the work and gave me a price for replacing broken and cracked tiles. The work was carried out promptly and to my satisfaction.
