Am really pleased with the work Keith did on my bathroom. There were a lot more problems with it than either of us realised but he worked really hard to fix everything for me and didn't charge more than he originally said. Great he kept me informed of when he was coming. Turned up on time and swiftly and painlessly completed the job. There was a problem with the cabinet which was not his fault and he has said he will come back to refit it when the company send me a new one. Keith was the most professional builder when he came to assess the work and gave us confidence and commitment that he will have all the work certified to the appropriate level. This was one the pre-requisite for the job. When Keith completed the work he ensured me that he would come back with the right tradesmen to certify gas and electrics. That was last December. I waited for a month and following a series of excuses from him I realised that the only way to get the electric and gas installation certified was for me to contact other independent tradesmen myself. Keith at the time agreed to pay all expenses but despite sending him all receipts and him promising to transfer the money he has now decided to ignore my emails and call. I've had to fork out £200 to pay for the certification. I really regret hiring Keith and cannot recommend him to anyone else!Answer from tradesperson:
There are two sides to a story and the customer isnt always right. And i dont have enough space to write what i need on here. Anyway please see my previous jobs for feedback etc. Needless to say they dont mention that the actual work was completelt fine!!! Only certificates were missing, although all work safe and fine. Price didnt include these anyway. They were ripped off and paid 200 to someome else to cert when i would have got it done if they could and not keep harassing!. Put me off completely going back!

He went and collected parts I needed and despite the job being harder and taking longer than first imagined Keith still only charged me the same labour cost. He is friendly and his communication is great. I can quite happily recommend Keith to anyone who needs a good plumber and at a reasonable cost. Keith and I agreed on a price and date and I ordered all items (paying extra to get them delivered on time as it was short notice). Unfortunately Keith cancelled at the very last minute and when I tried to re-arrange a date, he went AWOL and didn't even bother replying to me... Not very professional of him, and very disappointing as I need to re-quote, find someone else, and the job will not be completed for the date I hoped. I'm also stuck with all this bathroom furniture in my living room until it gets done.Answer from tradesperson:
gearbox in my van went and was stuck for 3hrs on motorway. is in the garage till the middle of the week. i replied to this "customer" and shes quite happy to ruin a flawless feedback previous rather than give a neutral as couldnt get to the job. what a joke. had to postpone another customer but did they make this much of hassle?? no. i can only imagine what it would have been like working this person!!!

He arrived bright and early at 8am as promised, and carefully worked to get the shower screen installed perfectly. He was very friendly and cleaned up all the dust that came about due to the drilling. He even offered to clear all the packaging as well. I would certainly recommend him. Review left on 8 Feb 2012Rating: 5 out of 5Gut old bathroom. Fit new bathroom.Keith has done a very nice job on the bathroom - it looks very smart. Keith was also extremely helpful and friendly throughout. The job took a little longer than anticipated, but Keith continued to work hard to finish it, despite feeling under the weather (which in fairness, was the primary reason for the delay) The job was completed to the cost agreed, even though there was a slight amendment to the job which meant he had to do some work which proved tricky, so this was a credit to him.
