Jorge and Gil are quite simply the perfect builders. They built our kitchen extension last year, providing an extremely competitive quote which was exactly the price we paid in the end. Their experience, commitment to doing a wonderful job, and network of talented trades people meant that the build was completed on time and without any snags. When the inevitable challenges of building an extension on an old house presented themselves, Jorge and Gill found creative solutions, always communicating with us, and willing to recommend the best solution. Living with 2 young children in the house during the project was made possible because they were such a pleasure to have around - considerate to our needs and wonderful with the kids. They take their work extremely seriously, and provide a huge amount of support even after the project has finished. I could not recommend these amazing builders highly enough.

Jorge and Gil are those amazing kind of builders that one hears about from slightly smug people but can never find for themselves. They are truly wonderful people to work with, the quote is accurate, quality of work is beautiful and the work ethic is incredible (at our house every day for 8am and not leaving until 6 at the earliest - Saturdays and the occasional Sunday too. We had a kitchen extension done with them and the price quoted was within pennies of the final cost. Not only that, but they are lovely people, they were great with my two young daughters and I really enjoyed having them around. If you are lucky, Gil will even sing for you while he works! We have recommended them to friends and neighbours, I think they've nearly covered our whole street now!

I had one of those painful leaks under my bath which caused water damage to the flat below as well and needed my work and the flat below remedied. I received a recommendation from a friend who used Gilbertgeorge and so got in touch. All the work was completed satisfactorily and in a timely fashion including liaison with my building insurers who were involved. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Gilbertgeorge to anyone who requires works done.

Having used the services of Christpher and Gilbertgeorge before I had no hesitation in asking them to do further work. They constructed a large barn/garage and animal room adjoining as well as garden walls work was done to a very high standard and on time - unlike many builders they turned up to work EVERY day. What is rare in a builder was their ability to take on a project and make any adjustments and improvements to complete the project without having to ask all the time what to do.
