We are a small family run business supplying Plastering and Decorating to Domestic,Commercial and Industrial clients throughout Glasgow and the West of Scotland.

Good communication before job started,good price for job,turned up on time,worked hard and tidied up afterwards,only negative thing i would say is a fair few bits had to be filled and sanded before painting and a bit more time could have been spent squaring of the windows

Work History
We are all Fully Time Served Plasterers and Painter and Decorators.We have worked on numerous construction projects.Previous contracts we have been involved in are Extensions, Conversions, The Briggate, TSB Banks, Coatbridge college, Nepier University, Edinburgh Museum, Edinburgh Vet School (Dick Institute) Ayr University and accommodation blocks and numerous GCC new house builds, no job is too small or too large we pride our selfs on doing jobs from a small bathroom ceiling right up to a full New Build to name but a few.
We love what we do, we have over 30 years experience between us we also have very good communication skills, hard working and very determined to make our business a success. And most important to us is we dont leave a job until the customer is 100% happy.
Qualifications & Accreditations
All our Tradesmen and Women are fully qualified all have there Trade Papers. Plastering/Skimming.
This is known in the trade as a 2 coat skim, applied to walls and ceilings resulting in a smooth surface ready for a paint finish or papering.
Hardwall and Straightening
Various tough plasters applied to fill out and cover blockwork then staightened ready for a smooth skim coat finish.
Ames Taping.
Applied to all new plasterboard in 3 coats then sanded to a smooth finish ready to paint or paper.
Drylining.
Plasterboard walls and ceiling removed and replaced ready for a skim coat plaster or Ames taped finish.
Artex removal.
Artex removed from walls and or ceilings in preperation for plaster finish.
All above services carried out to a smooth surface ready for painting/papering.
Painting & Decorating.
G&C Plastering also offers a full Painting & Decorating service to its customers post Plastering or Ames Taping.
We are more than happy to provide a free no obligation quote to our customers on Painting & Decorating independant of our Plastering services.
Wallpaper Removal.
We love the job you hate, removal of any kind of wallpaper or other coverings from ceilings and walls in preperation for plaster or papering finishes.
Tiling.
Kitchens, Bathrooms, Floors we cover it all, free quote independant of our Plastering services offered to all our customers.
Wood Restoration.
At G&C Plasterers & Decorators we offer a unique service of Wood Restoration where we can take your old Doors, Shutter Doors and any loose architraves away and have them dipped and stripped back to the original feature of the wood.
