I selected Roc having received a number of quotes, but was apprehensive. I had preconceived ideas of how the work would be carried out, based on the horror stories that I’d heard about other builders. I can only say how wrong I was. From the very start Gary was professional and clearly experienced in his trade. No sooner had he started the work, I felt I could trust him to restore my kitchen. The work should have been really disruptive as they had to completely strip out the kitchen so that the rotton floor could be replaced. He then refitted my kitchen, and re-tiled the floor and walls. Throughout the job Gary was helpful, considerate and fairly chilled, (even when I chose the blackest messiest grout for him to use on the tiled floor). He was here every day, throughout the day until the job was complete. The members of his team were equally as experienced, trustworthy, friendly, hardworking, but above all professional with an eye for detail. I could not be more pleased with the finished job. They made what was a really stressful time for me, an adventure where I saw progression every day. I am already thinking about my next home project, confident that I will be using Gary and his team to carry out any future work that I have. I will also recommend Roc to anyone who is looking for a professional builder.

Up until joining mybuilder,Roc have never had to advertise in any way,shape or form.All of our work has come by way of recommendation.We believe that there are a number of reasons for this other than providing quality work at REALISTIC prices.
Firstly,we never take on multiple projects.Once your project has begun,we will be on site EVERY day and in the unlikely event of any changes,queries or concerns with your project, available IN PERSON.This ensures that ALL projects run smoothly and the client remains fully informed at all times.
Secondly,we guarantee that you will not be hit with any "EXTRAS" during your project.By providing a fully detailed quotation you can be assured that everything is included and the price we give is the price you will pay.Whilst this means that we may not be the cheapest price on paper,you will know exactly what we will be doing,what materials we will be using and more importantly,the "ALL IN" price.This is vital if your project is to stay within your budget!
Thirdly,we have managed to keep together the exact same team that we started with all those years ago.This means that not only can we guarantee that EVERY member of our team is fully qualified,insured and expierienced (at least 15 years in their own fields),but also that they friendly,reliable and above all 100% trustworthy.We NEVER give our projects to 3rd parties or EVER employ casual staff.
Finally,we will NOT be involved in any project that is done on the cheap.We price our work to use quality materials to produce a quality finish and our tradesmen are skilled,family men. We will NOT get involved in the current trend of pricing ridiculously low just to win the work.This involves unskilled labour,poor materials, corner cutting,and ultimately a poor finish.We will also only work on legitimate projects.ie if yours needs planning,building regulations etc,then YOU MUST USE THEM! In short,we DO NOT do "cheap fixes" or "dodgy" work.Please do not ask us to provide a quote if this is what you are after.
Qualifications & Accreditations
I have done maybe 50 extensions,20 garage conversions,dozens of kitchens and bathrooms,countless alterations.Although primarily a domestic builder i have been persuaded in the past to take on church restoration,construction in schools and large office refurbs (whilst occupied) in london.I have genuinely never had a complaint from/issue with, ANY of my clients. All tradesmen are qualified and time served (15 years minimum).Gas safe (formerly corgi registered) plumber,NIC electrician etc.We have the tradesmen to carry out every part of every job in a skilled and more importantly,safe and legal manner!
