Neil installed a complete kitchen for me. It is entirely satisfactory. He was very proactive in sorting the kitchen which saved me quite a lot of trouble. I was very pleased with the work done and I would recommend him.

Neil removed my old, tired kitchen and fitted a new, modern and massively better one. All work has been carried out well, in line with the agreed budget and timescales. The new kitchen was one of the main selling points that enabled me to get a good sale price when I sold the flat.

Neil fitted a new kitchen for us and built some new units. He was very professional, on time and a pleasure to deal with. We had some issues around damage to our wooden floorboards (perhaps inevitable) but we are happy with the job he has done. He communicated with us well when issues came up and if things went wrong he was reasonable. He was very good about coming back for free to sort out any problems we had. I would recommend him. His carpentry work is particularly strong.

Neal did a good job on the bathroom. He accommodated a few small changes we made and was happy to return to fix a small leak.On time and tidied up afterwards.

Neil was great in terms of planning the work and making sure the order of works was appropriate. Relocating the sink & toilet as well as building the shower was done well. Although the overall job took 1 week longer than expected, my biggest disappointment was with the final finish. Tiling, grouting and sealant was not done professionally. Neil did accommodate me by coming back to redo the grouting. However, I am still not satisfied on the quality of the final finish. I spent a lot on buying high quality tiles, adhesive and grout. Unfortunately, the final installation does not match the quality of the materials. In addition, there were some details missed during the installation of the lights which meant that my extractor switch had to be disconnected from the main switch. I agreed to the setup after being told it was a wiring issue. But it turned out to be an oversight and now I'm stuck with an inconveniently located cord to turn the fan on and off.

I was able to discuss my requirements easily and there was flexibility within the quote. I liked the silicone lining employed to minimise leaks. Very reasonable and competitive rate.

Neil Forbes made a fantastic, clean job of fitting a new sink, tap and worktop to our kitchen. Neil was a pleasure to deal with - turned up on time, kept us informed and supplied the worktop. Neil produced a written quotation and invoices and has a website where you can see pictures of previous work. This made us feel very confident to use him and we would certainly do so again and recommend without reservation.

Neil was very reliable from the first point of contact, his prices seemed very reasonable and he supplied detailed quotes. We are so pleased to have found him via mybuilder.com. Neil was always easy to approach, explained everything to us at each stage and in contact with us throughout the job. He fitted a new bathroom for us, and replaced rotten timbers/beams to complete a whole new sub-floor in our flat. We would definitely recommend neil.

Neil did a great job on my bathroom, providing a high quality finish. He was also very flexible, and sorted out a number of unforeseen problems without any fuss or extra cost. Highly recommended.

We would 100% recommend Neil Forbes. He turned up on time, gave us some really sound advice and did an excellent job on our skirting. For him it was probably quite a minor job but he took great pride in his work, making sure the new skirting matched up as close as possible to what we had and the finish was great. We are really happy with the result. We've tried out a few people on my builder.com - Neil is by far the most professional and did the best job. He even made a follow up call to make sure everything was ok a couple of days after the job was finished. We will be using him again in future.
