Work History
We specialise in domestic electrical work, our work ranges from full rewires to changing light fittings.
We are happy to take on any size of work, for your reassurance we have £2M public liability insurance and all certified work is guaranteed for 6 years through the NICEIC.
Examples of work:
Lutron lighting system: This is a high end automated lighting system, it allows you to control multiple lighting zones at the touch of a button or by using a remote control.
In this case it was controlling 11 lights in 4 different zones with 2 wall mounted control pads and one remote. The benefit of a system like this is that it allows you to control all of the lights by pressing one of the preset buttons. You can setup the control pads to produce any combination of illumination buy pressing one button or control all of the zones individually.
Rewire of 5 story house with basement and loft: This involved a total of 25 circuits with 4 RCD's and 3 RCBO's. The existing installation was very old with lots of dangerous issues including lead sheathed cables and fuses on the neutral. As the owners and family were living in the property it was important to split the work into areas to create as little disruption as possible. The installation was spread over a number of months so they could vacate the different floors as they were being worked on.
Installing garden lights: When using electricity outside it is important to make sure the installation is of the highest quality. This was a permanent installation of 7 lights, 6 were to be LED lights sunk into rendered planting boxes. To make sure the installation would last and meet safety regulations the cable had to be armoured, there needed to be RCD protection and all of the junctions, connections and lights were IP rated.
