Review left on 10 Jul 2018Rating: 1 out of 5Tiling a studio room(Updated on 2 Nov 2018)Well the job is now completed in so far as the tiles have been laid on the floor, look quite nice, if dirty, and Donovan has left, which is a great relief. But it has been a very stressful experience from start to finish. Donovan has been threatening, rude and totally unreliable. Instead of being finished in one day, it has taken several days with Donovan always arriving late. I have given him £70 in cash to pay for his friend's van and his taxi home at the end of the job at 10pm last night. He has given me a hand written invoice with the wrong address on it. I have politely requested a new invoice with the correct address but he refuses to give me that and has called me a fool for not wanting to forge a false invoice for myself. As a professional landlord, I need genuine invoices for my accounting. I need to completely clean the flat as he has spread adhesive everywhere including the furniture. I have suggested a deduction of £30. He does not accept this. Donovan has complained that people do not respect him, but I think Donovan is incapable of respecting other people and understanding their needs as customers. I would be very careful before hiring him - it was an unsettling experience. .Answer from tradesperson:
