Paul did a great job. He had some excellent ideas which added to the overall job (including a loft space with access ladder which has made a huge amount of storage out of dead space and leaving some nice old stones exposed through plaster which looks great) He managed all the construction/demolition work, fitted the new kitchen and flooring and did the job about as quickly as it could be done!

Paul was hired to fit new internal doors in our house. The doors themselves look good and appear to have been well fitted. Sadly he gave us a recommendation for a decorator - Gordon Simpson - in order to paint our hallway plus the doors after they were installed. The surrounding door mount was not finished by Paul who left this task for his friend. Gordon seemed to loose interest in our house and did not end up repairing the door frames or painting the doors themselves. We have been left very disappointed by the whole experience. We hired the painter based on Paul's recommendation and feel that he has done a very poor job. I may hire Paul again but certainly would not take his advice on other tradesmens

Good job at a reasonable price. Obviously a competent guy who knows what he's doing. Needs to brush up a little on his timekeeping but, otherwise, no complaints.

Paul quickly understood the project, made practical and low cost recommendations, arrived on time for both appointments, was sensitive to my request to minimize paintwork damage and completed the work on schedule at a competitive cost and all to my full satisfaction. In summary a well skilled carpenter with a strong work ethic and a pleasant disposition.

Paul was great to work with, prompt after arranging a site visit and came the day after to do the work required, he was quick, clean and good value. I would definitely work with him again on other carpentry work I require.

I highly recommend Paul on all grounds of keeping to budget, attention to detail, craftsmanship and time keeping. A very enthusiastic and experienced joiner carpenter Paul was able not only to fix the water damaged wooden hallway flooring and re-balance my sash and case windows but he also took on a job of turning my alcove in my living-room into a modern very beautiful cabinet shelve system with incorporated wine rack! He was successfully able to take my ideas and specifications and bring them to reality in a truly excellent piece of work which you would find in any high end boutique or luxury flats or hotel. The finish is spectacular, practical and an interior designer's dream...pictures are testament to this. Job well done all round....I will be calling on Paul's services again as he is very reliable, skilled and honest.
