Overboarding lath and plaster ceiling and recess lights
Hi all
I'm planning a refurb to my flat. First floor Victorian flat with access to the loft. I'm pretty sure is lath and lime plaster is pretty level however can see obvious patch work. I would like to put recessed lighting however due to the high window nib I cannot baton out and drop the ceiling so either remove or overboard. I'm choosing the latter. My question is because is lime I'm scared that it will crumble when sparky does first fix. I know normally wiring should be done before plasterboard. In this case can overboard be done first then sparky first fix, then skim to avoid ceiling falling down? Many thanks in advance.
