We used the site to invite quotes and Buildwright were the first of two to respond.We also requested quotes from local builders. Disappointingly with the exception of Buildwright, we had to either chase up the reply or some even failed to quote. Right from the outset Buildwright responded to the enquiry professionally and were keen to ensure that they had correctly interpreted our requirement for the build of our garage. Their attention to detail with both the quotation and drawing up the plans was excellent. The project was closely managed throughout and we were regularly updated. Any queries were immediately addressed and Joe never failed to get back to us whenever we contacted him. For example he spent a great deal of time helping us find the bricks that matched our existing house and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the build was exceptional and we have already recommended Buildwrights to one of our friends.

Work History
Hello, my name is Joe Smereka, I am the owner of 'Buildwrights', the company I founded on the 16th August 1998. My love affair with the construction industry began at the age of 15, when I started helping out at a local building company during the weekends and school holidays. I recall those days with deep fondness, they were the foundations that have served me well and helped me to build my career.
Before starting 'Buildwrights', I worked myself from positions as general site operative (or labourer as we were known back then), through a joinery apprencticeship and into a Site Managers role with a Principal Contractor, and an NVQ level 4 in Construction Site Management. Since 1998, I have been the driving force behind 'Buildwrights' and led our company in achieving the list of qualifications and accreditations you can see below.
Certficates, awards, accreditations..... Ultimately, they are only pieces of paper. What really makes a difference.... what actually makes great builder..... what I strive for in this world is..... INTEGRITY!!!
