The Job was done quickly and efficiently and the man was really helpful

Carl has completed the side decking only of the job posted. Carl agreed to match a previous quote in order to secure the job. Before the job started we had changed the layout of the deck slightly and agreed an increase of £180 in the quote to do this. This turned into a increase of almost £400 but we paid in full on completion of the work. Carl was extremely messy- in fact everything was left including bricks out of the back of his van! I felt unable to challenge Carl on this at the end of the job due to previous bad experience on challenging problems with him. Carl is a very intimidating person, the warning bells rang when he was overhead by us and our younger daughter swearing and shouting at another customer over some issues with kitchen tiling. The job itself is of a reasonable standard although we had to ask for things to be rectified which was an uncomfortable experience. Carl kept saying he was working for free and asking for more money. We did pay exactly what he asked for mainly in order to get him to leave without further confrontation. He was here for 2 days and we paid him a total of £1040. Not something to repeat.

Carl Crane visited initially to provide an accurate no obligation quotation. His solution for filling the doorway was to relace like with like (bricks, mortar and skim) unlike another quotation I received. He came and did exactly what he said he would and he worked like a wirlwind, non-stop. He was extremely tidy and cleaned up the debris. Although I had left enough space for him to work indoors he did the messy stuff outside in the cold and then didn't leave any sign that he worked there. Within the timeframe he provided he completed this job to my satisfaction. It was a pleasure to meet Carl and have him work on our home. I would definately use him again. Seems to me that if anyone can...Carl Crane can. He even gave me tips for my current DIY jobs.

I cant praise Carl enough. He turned up when he said he would, appraised the work quickly and gave us a very reasonable quote. Carl adopted a methodical and cost effective approach to fixing our leaking bay window and I am confident he has gotten to root cause and we wont have any more issues. Carl is neat and tidy, personable and reliable and we will definitely be using him again. Restores your faith in builders! Thanks for all your hard work Carl

We have just had a large internal building project managed by Carl & from initial contact to completionof the project he was prompt, attentive & considered all our queries & answering with honesty & professionalism. He brought in specialist workers where needed eg carpenters, plumbers & ensured that they completed the work to his high standards! Carl was friendly & approachable always wanting to ensure that we were happy with the progress & standard of work.

I feel that I'm doing things twice I already has given Carl a reference and feel that should do the job. He was prompt, very clean and polite and got the job done with 101% performance. As the garage door people arrived they said that the purlin going across was done with much care and professionalism. I would give him all other work should it arise and have no qualms about the mans integrity. Thank You Baz & Chris Gurr
