I deliberately delayed in doing any feedback with the hope that the problems would be resolved. Job was done in 2013 and initial quote was for real wood effect sliding doors and a fully fitted wardrobe. Ended up with pre made boxes of mdf that did not fit the walls and came out in front of my window with tops were items can fall and not be retrieved. at I received laminated doors, Brendan apologised but that was that. I called less than a year later as doors were coming off runners and cracks had appeared around the edges of the unit. He agreed the runners were of poor quality and he would get it sorted but he was off on holiday. Nothing since. I have texted and called to no avail. Today I tried from landline and he answered! Claimed that I had been rude and that was why he hadn't bothered? We last spoke 2013? He went on about a foot operation that I know nothing about and then ut phone down on me. I sent him a text about a month ago warning I would give a bad review if he didn't contact me. I would like to point out that a week after he did the job he asked me to do a review and I told him that I couldn't because I wasn't happy with what he had done. He made no effort to rectify. I am a single mother of two and simply gave over £1800 for a job that was never satisfactory. I know this is 4 years on but enough is enough. I gave him his chance - comes across as a lovely guy but really is a pretty poor joiner. Please feel free to contact me if you need any pictures or proof.

We wanted a bespoke front door, glazed side panel and frame in solid oak. We hired IBI Ltd. to do the work. Brendan has a passion for quality materials and craftsmanship, he also was able to advise us on what we wanted and the best way to get it. The end result was built and installed to the best standards with top quality materials. Also the finished product has, in modern terms, "Kerb Appeal" We would certainly use IBI Ltd again.

Good quality work, good price and a nice chap. I look forward Brendan doing more work for me in the future.

Work was completed quickly and to a very high standard. Brendan was very clean and gave some great advise on how to keep my worktop looking as good as new. Would definately use again.

Brendan and his son did an absolutely brilliant job on our floors for a very reasonable price- resanding a very old Victorian pine floor made of all different shapes and sizes of board and also replacing some of the ruined boards. They worked diligently over two days and were a pleasure to have around. Brendan went out of his way to be helpful and even lent us his tools so we could get on with a bit of DIY! The floors came out so well we've asked Brendan to come back and do another floor in the house for us. We'd definitely recommend him!

Where to start! Never felt so respected by a contractor - IBI were just great. Turned up when they said the would, and helped us to find a solution to our problem - the replacement of a complex wooden door in a new-build metal frame. Lots of helpful suggestions and work completed as promised, on time to a fixed price - no messing. Have just ordered a second job with them. Highly recommend.

Brendan recently completed quite a large project for us consisting of supplying and fitting solid oak flooring into three large rooms downstairs in our house in Scarcroft. We are extremely pleased with the end result and I cannot recommend Brendan highly enough. Throughout the 2 weeks he kept us updated on progress and him and his workmate Stuart demonstrated a very high work ethic regularly getting to our house before 8am and working long days. We need a few other joinery jobs doing and will hopefully be using Brendan again.

Brendan and co did a fantastic job of building a music workstation desk completely bespoke to my needs, even including some last minute changes when delivering. I can't express how delighted I am with the end result and what a difference it has made to my productivity. Thanks guys!

We hired Brendan (and Stuart) to fit glass panels into our existing stairs and to fit a bespoke front door. The reason we chose IBI in the first place was because of all the positive comments from previous customers. We were quite anxious about finding the right company as we needed someone with a real eye for detail and someone who cared about the end result. Well, we have found a gem. Brendan did exactly what he said he would do, was utterly transparent in terms of the costings, and has an incredible eye for detail with a passion to provide a quality service. Both Brendan and Stu are a delight to have around and have created something for us that has real WOW factor. After seeing a design for a door that when costed from the manufacturer was very expensive Brendan told us that he would be able to make it to the same design. And he has and it is absolutely beautiful, like a piece of art work. We are so impressed with their work that we have already aske them to undertake some other work and we know that any work in the future will automatically be given to them. Why would we need to go anywhere else!

Brendan and Stuart did a fantastic job of fitting a new loft hatch, bespoke oak shelves and bespoke oak wardrobe. The work was done to a very high standard. They were polite, efficient and put in some very long days to get the job done. Would definatley hire them again. Tom (Cowling)
