Aaron seemed to know his stuff when we hired him but after the first days work we began to worry as a hole was knocked through to the dining room from the kitchen and we weren't even told about it.
By day 2 we had paid for materials and he asked for £300 on top for labour. 3 spot lights were different from the other 3. They then said they found a 400v live cable so we needed to get a proper check done by someone else and left without doing another days work on other things that could have been done.
We got a full check done on the house and they said there was no 400v cable and found various other faults with ajc's work. At this point I lost all confidence in them and got someone else in to finish the job.
After paying them £1050 not even half the work was finished, some materials were returned because they were wrong and we got no refund, so it ended up costing us much more than the original quote.

ajc electrics's reply:
From start Mark made the job uncomfortable and difficult,he had a problem with giving me material money i had already spent out on of my own after agreeing this is what he wanted to do! We agreed no money up front as it was a start till finish job until Mark realized this was impossible due to works needed first ie plasterboarding the ceilings therefore i asked for some money to cover the day and it seemed as if i insulted him for asking! Also every day we turned up Mark had fiddled and diy'd around with our cables!!! Why? Marks walls were almost falling apart and wanted cables chased in these walls,i warned him on this matter and he was fine hence the tiny 2inch hole through to next room! Mistakes happen! Mark also owes us £200 wages!
