Latest review:Painting & Decorating-Very pleasant and friendly guy however the painting was way below standard, skirting boards and walls and ceiling painted to a low standard. No masking tape was used so had grey wall paint going into the white ceiling and vice versa. No straight edges on ceiling or skirting boards as he didn’t bother to use masking tape. I was quoted an amount and he said it would take one day, I asked him over the phone are you sure you can do it in one day he said yes which I thought was not realistic, anyway after the first day he saw it would take half day extra so he asked me to pay him nearly an extra 50% more of the price that was quoted which I declined because I had gone ahead with the work based on his quote. If he misquoted then that’s not on me. He had quoted to apply undercoat to the walls which he didn’t. Skirting boards were not prepped properly so ended up with a bad finish on them and can see the previous colour underneath. I’ve had to spend hours and hours trying to fix these things to make it look decent. If I could attach pics I would to show the quality of work, disappointed to say the least I could have took my time and done a better job if I knew the end result would be like this.
First class quality of work and came home to find no mess to clean up I will definitely use SJ again next time I need a painter and would recommend her to anyone else

Latest review:Painting & Decorating-Very happy with Dom's handling of this job. Quick to respond to the posting, prompt estimate and job completed within days. He also scheduled a follow up visit with the tenant, if needed, should any stains bleed through the fresh paint. I would happily use Dom again, should the need arise.

Latest review:Painting & Decorating-Dawid was asked to paint a number of newly installed interior doors and surrounds. The issue was on the day he was due to start, separate contractors had not finished the installation work on time. This put downstream pressure on the situation because there was a finite deadline for completion. Dawid despite the scenario pulled out all the stops to get the work done on time, the job was bigger than anticipated because of the extra filling required which he took care of, and he managed to get another of his company to help out expedite the work which was done to a very high and professional quality. Out of a stressful situation he sorted it out. Whilst I could not be there, he kept me up to date with videos and photos. I was very happy with the work he did and his proactive, fast and transparent approach.
