The property currently has aluminium frames in and there is some broken glass that will need replacing, seals around the windows, and window handles will need replacing there is a total of 5 windows to look at.

I have two windows, one living room and one kitchen window that need to be repaired. They are letting a draft in and my tenant is finding it hard to keep the flat warm.

I think it is the living room and kitchen ones that need repairing but you will have to check with my tenant if its possible for you to do a visit for a quote.

If its at all possible I would really appreiciate if you can repair the windows becuase money is a bit tight at the moment. If not then replacing might be a possibility.

adjustment will need to be made to the door mech , as the door cannot be taken out etc ..

Replace two wooden windows with upvc at the rear of a terraced property. Possible additional windows in rear extension and repacement of back door, this would be dependant on a satisfactory quote for the two windows.

Access to the property not available untill 10/03/11, completion of work ASAP after that date.

I will not own the property until the 10th March, also there is a tenant in the property and as such I have to respect their privacy.
I have added a photo of the front property to give an idea of the approx. size of at least one of the windows at the rear.( property on the right of the photo )
I understand its difficult to give a firm quotation without looking at the job, at this stage a rough idea of the cost per window would be adequate plus the cost of replacing the back door with a standard upvc door. I do require a FENSA registered installer and would expect a 10 year FENSA guarantee on completion.
