Source a new white uPVC patio door, remove the old one, fit the new one.

Our current door is an old tilt and slide, and the lock has perished so I have had to screw it shut. Time-scales wise I would like to get this done as soon as possible.

I want a good quality white sliding door that feels solid with good security locks.

The outside width of the gap in the brickwork is 183cm
The height from the underside of the plastic step to the underside of the metal strip which runs across the top of the unit and is fixed into the brickwork is 210.5cm.

Note: there is some asbestos on the roofing in the porch between the two doors.

I will not own the property until the 10th March, also there is a tenant in the property and as such I have to respect their privacy.
I have added a photo of the front property to give an idea of the approx. size of at least one of the windows at the rear.( property on the right of the photo )
I understand its difficult to give a firm quotation without looking at the job, at this stage a rough idea of the cost per window would be adequate plus the cost of replacing the back door with a standard upvc door. I do require a FENSA registered installer and would expect a 10 year FENSA guarantee on completion.

Velux window fited on slate pitched roof and frame around velux is leaking water, also velux needs maintnance done to it. The references on metal tag, which are in two numbers are listed here.

1st Part: GGL 304 3000
2nd Part: UB 63 AH04 C

The frame around the window as well as the window itself is wood.
Work would be required ASAP, and tradesman needs to be an expert or at least very good with velux.
Price also needs to be reasonable.

We have a double glazed upvc window in our attic and it appears the external seal around the frame has contracted, as a result we are getting damp around the frame.

As for timescale, we need this doing asap.

There are also a couple of other minor jobs needed - the installation of two air vents, one in the same room and one in the bathroom.
