Bathroom tiles in the shower basin needed to be sloped at a greater angle toward the plughole to stop water lying. They are currently not sloped enough so the water has been lying on the tiles outside of the shower entrance leaking into those tiles and braking the grouting around them. The grouting has broked a little in the shower basin so is leaking into the floor at the moment.

I've just had my bathroom tiled but the tiler decided not to tile one wall (the most difficult wall around the window and toilet). He said the wall was to uneven to tile. I can do a bit of tiling myself, and as far as I can see the wall is a bit uneven, but a good tiler shouldn't have a problem. I have an interior wall in my kitchen that'd I'd like to tile. You'll need to go around cupboards etc, but it's a fairly simple job. Wall measures approximately 4m x 2m.

The wall is plasterboard (painted), but there is an uncovered steel beam in the wall that you'll need to somehow cover up, so that you can tile across it. The steel is recessed into the wall.

There is a turn in the wall to the right which you need to go around, about 600mm (under the boiler cupboard), and then 200mm again (to take you to the black sliding door you can just see in pictures, where there is a hook to hold aprons).

Tiles are white bevel edge matt tile measuring 100mm x 200mm

Regarding the grouting - I'm not sure if I want a plain white colour, perhaps a pale grey. I don't know if that's possible.

A few months ago, we had a new bathroom fitted by someone who had been recommended to us. Unfortunately, there seem to be a few errors in the job. For example, he chiselled through the tiles in the process of fitting the bath taps but did not seal any of the holes. We now have a mould problem that's bad and getting rapidly worse (including eating into the moisture proof plaster board beside the bath and shower area). We initially tried to get the same guy back to fix it but he simply half plugged a few holes with filler. We don't know how extensive repair work would need to be but would like to get quotes please. For obvious reasons, we are reluctant to ask the original tradesman to fix it at this stage.
