Job Description

We are looking for someone to do a repair job on our rear wall roughcasting. We have made a number of modifications to our home in the last few years and have added flues and vents, exposed some mismatching roughcast and converted a twin window formation to become French doors with some replacement roughcasting around. As a result the ground floor wall area of our rear roughcasting is mismatching and does not look great.

We are looking for someone to do the following:
- remove and replace some of the existing roughcast
- patch up some breaks in roughcasting around flue/vent openings
- fix some poor workmanship to improve weatherproofing around new french doors

in addition to the above we would also ask you to quote for the following:
- painting the ground floor rear wall to ensure the whole rear wall paint matches
- sanding the roof line timbers to the rear (and possibly front) and revarnishing or painting.

The property is Victorian and so the rear wall is approx 7.5 metres high and about the same distance across. We will be very much driven by cost so please bear this in mind.

Front stairs had bricks and slabs laid over them by bricklayer. The recent bad weather has caused them to be no longer usable, I'm looking really for someone to get rid of the "debris" and restore the original s concrete steps.

The house is a late 19th century semi-detached stone built villa. The front sonework is protected by paint. The gable of the house has been "patched" with cement over the past 50 years, but some of the stone flaked badly after last winter.
I need an estimate for repair and/or repointing of the gable of the house.
Approximate measurements: width 12 metres; height to ridge of roof 10 metres.
