You may need to see my photos before you can respond to this job. I have a large stone mantel which is holding up half of the chimney breast. I know it's a large job to remove it completely, so I'd like the front of the mantel 'cut off' so the fireplace can be plastered over to form a smooth finish (without removing it all). The mantel piece is too high to use and not low enough to place anything on...I'd just like it removed.

We are having a new set of gates fitted to our driveway and require two exising stone pillars (approx 500mm sqare) raised by another 500-600mm. We have plenty of stone from the original house build circa 1910 to the rear of the house. We will require the pillars to be filled with suitable concrete to take the gate hignges and the capping stones replaced.

Having new PVC sliding doors fitted however the old ones that need to be removed did not have a lintel supporting the brickwork above

Before the new doors can be fitted a load bearing lintel needs to be installed.

Hello,

A big piece of our gate post have 'fallen out', there is also a crack all way around so the top is loose.

Ideally we would like to repair it rather than replace it with bricks but it is dependent on the cost of repairing it....
