Security Systems jobs in Leeds, West Yorkshire

Alarm System Required

  • Location: Batley
  • Hired: NTH Electrical Contractors
  • Trade: Security Systems
Job Description

Mid-Terraced Back-to-Back house.
We have 3 storeys and would need an alarm system to cover all three. We also have a cat and a dog (dog is in a crate when we are out, but cat is a free roaming indoor cat) so would need some form of pet sensor.

Unsure of the different options, so someone to explain them would be useful.

URGENT: Fitting front/back pir lights (replace on back)

  • Location: Leeds
  • Hired: DISKIN ELECTRICAL
  • Trade: Security Systems
Job Description

We need to get a lantern-style pir light installed to the front of our house, and replace an existing outside light on the rear of the house.

Rear: Existing light on rear corner of the house, wired into a switch inside the rear door. I have a generic B&Q 400W pir to replace it, but I can only see 2 wires going into the current light - it has a metal housing but worried there is no earth, which the new light requires. New light to be wall mounted, fitting to existing external wiring if possible, but if not wired into the current outdoor light switch.

Front: Would like to install a lantern-style pir light, ideally to the upper left of the front door (as viewed from outside), but understand this may depend on wiring etc. There is no switch installed on the inside, so would need that installed with all wiring.

Will supply the external PIR lights, and also we live near a b&q so I can either get all required cabling/fixings, or you could quote for that plus labour.

We've had a number of break-ins to our shed, which is why the urgency as we already have cctv but poor lighting. Ideally anyone able to come round today or tomorrow, but able to arrange for later in the week - all depends on price too.

Thanks for looking. Pictures available of front/rear inside/outside, incl the rear light fitting.

External fitting of 2 cameras, and cable thru wall

  • Location: Leeds
  • Hired: A Kay Electrical And Security Solutions
  • Trade: Security Systems
Job Description

I've purchased a home CCTV DVR system, with 2 small external cameras.
I'm not massively comfortable with fitting the cameras externally and feeding the cables through the wall, so am looking to see how cheap someone could do this for.

No specialist knowledge required, as I'll be finishing all the setup etc, I just need the cameras securely mounted and the cables through the brickwork. I can look at then routing the cables around the house interior, unless that is also something available cheaply enough.

I'd like to connect the cameras to the DVR and test once complete, just to ensure the cameras are pointing in the right direction.

As above ideally I'm looking for as cheap as possible a solution, with fast turnaround if available - this week or this weekend.

Thanks in advance.
